Commissioned Paintings
- A non-refundable deposit of 40% of the full painting price is required before commissions are started, this is to cover the initial costs I incur for materials.
- Paintings will take approximately 5-8 weeks to complete and dry.
- Once painting is seen and approved (via photographs sent by e-mail) the outstanding balance of the painting (60% of the agreed price) is to be received in full plus the cost of postage before a painting is shipped.
- Shipping is estimated as the packaged item's weight and size to be sent by Royal Mail's Special Delivery by 1pm. This is paid by the customer in addition to the full cost of the painting. Please check Royal Mail's website to get an idea of costs. (Likely weight is 1-2kg).
- Payments are to be made via PayPal or in cash.
Commissioned Sketches
- Payments for sketches must be made before their commencement either via PayPal or cash in person.
- Should you cancel a commission during its process you will receive a partial refund of 50%.
- You will be sent an e-mail on completion to inform you that your sketch has been shipped or is ready for you to come and collect.
- Sketches take up to 8 working days to complete and ship once I have received your payment.
- Sketch prices include shipping costs (unless collecting) and are sent by Royal Mail's 1st Class Signed for delivery, which is a tracked service.
General
- Currently commissions and paintings are only available to customers of the United Kingdom.
- Copyright is retained on all artwork produced. Commissioned artwork may be added to gallery pages or used for promotional material.
- If the commission is a gift that you wish it to remain a secret please let me know so I do not include it on my blog whilst commission is ongoing.
- In the event of a future price rise, prices already agreed to are honoured on commissions in progress.

If there's a problem with shipping
- In the event of the item not arriving please contact me and let me know.
- Check to make sure the item has not been damaged in transit before accepting goods. Do not accept goods that have been damaged.
- Should the item be damaged in transit please retain the packaging and photograph the damage as evidence for compensation and contact me as soon as possible.
- It is likely that I will need the item returned in the case of damage, items must be sent back via trackable means if you are requested to return the item.
- You are entitled to a full refund in the case of the item being not as described or damaged, this includes the cost of shipping.
- If a full refund has been agreed the item must be sent back to me reasonably packaged so to prevent further damage and sent by trackable means.
- Refunds will only be issued to the same person/card as originally paid.
- Refund will be given once item has been received/trackable evidence provided for their return.
- If the item is damaged but you would prefer to keep it/have it repaired rather than a full refund I can offer a partial refund dependent on the amount of damage instead.
